Inspired by Edward Stasack’s “Hawaiian Boxers” and Jeffery Dunn’s “Lava Forms in the APP collection, participants will utilize natural textures and collagraph printmaking techniques to create a work of art that builds upon itself.
Understanding and implementing ways to layer texture is a key part, and participants will be able to explore different materials with which to create collagraphs. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have the opportunity to create a printmaking plate that we will ink and create a print from.
This is a very fun and collage-focused printmaking style!
Please note that attendance is limited and registration is required on Eventbrite. To ensure fair access, we are limiting registrations to two tickets per person. Additionally, proof of vaccination and masks are required for participation. Please email [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
