The 2021 Young Artists of Hawai‘i Exhibit at the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum opened on Friday, May 14, 2021 and runs through Saturday, June 19, 2021.
All public and private school students, K through 6 th grade, are encouraged to participate in the 2021 Young Artists of Hawai‘i exhibition. The theme, “My Culture, My Family, and Me,” encourages students to express how they feel, see, or interpret their life experiences in the islands. Once each school submits works for judging, a distinguished team of judges selects 96 artworks for exhibition. The 2021 Young Artists of Hawai‘i exhibition will enable visitors to experience the common interests and diversity of Hawai‘i through the art of its multicultural youth.
