Free Admission

Entry and admission to the Hawaii State Art Museum (HiSAM), including the lawn, Sculpture Garden, café, and shop is free. HiSAM is a part of the Art in Public Places Program of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA), Hawaii’s state government arts agency, and is “the People’s Museum,” created to increase public accessibility to the state art collection.

HiSAM events, including First Friday, Second Saturday, and Art Lunch, are also free and open to the public. Please note that the museum grounds are also available for rental, and those rental events may charge a fee for an event and/or be invitation-only.
